Vegetarian Recipes and Cuisines

A vegetarian diet has been advocated by everyone from philosophers and political leaders all the way to modern pop stars. Science and studies have also proven that there are remarkable health benefits associated with a vegetarian diet.

Some people are still doubtful that vegetarian diet is able to provide all the essential nutrients. However, the fact is that it is very easy to have a well-balanced diet with vegetarian foods. Vegetarian foods provide plenty of protein and careful combination of foods is not necessary. Any normal variety of plant foods will provide more than enough protein for the body's need. Although there is somewhat less protein in a vegetarian diet than a non-vegetarian diet, this is actually an advantage. Excess protein has been linked to kidney stones, osteoporosis and possibly heat diseases.

A diet that are focused on beans, whole grains and vegetables contains adequate amounts of protein without the "overdose"................
