Indonesian Chili Crabs Recipe (Ranjungan Goreng)

Ingredients :

1 kg

1 tablespoon

1

Spices (ground)

1-2

1/2 teaspoon

2 cloves

1/2 teaspoon

1/2 teaspoon

Medium-sized crabs

Lime juice

Egg, lightly beaten

Oil for deep-frying

Red chilies

Salt

Garlic

Chopped ginger

Pepper

Method :
  • Clean crabs, discard the shell and gills.
  • Twist off the legs and claws.
  • Cut in half if the crab is too big.
  • Add lime juice and let it stand for 10 minutes.
  • Combine ground spices with egg, add the crabs and mix well.
  • Heat oil and deep-fry crabs until golden brown.
  • Serve while hot.
