Spiced Lamb Fillets Recipe (Krengsengan)

Ingredients :

3 tablespoons

200 cc

Spiced (ground)

2 cloves

1/2 teaspoon

1 teaspoon

Oil

Tomatoes, chopped

Lamb fillet, chopped into pieces 1 X 2 X 3 cm

Water

Sweet soy sauce

Black shrimp paste

Red chilies, seeded, finely sliced

Shallots

Garlic

Peppercorns

Chopped ginger

Salt and sugar to taste

Method :
  • Heat oil and gently fry the ground spices until golden brown.
  • Add tomatoes and meat, and stir until the color changes.
  • Add water, sweet soy sauce and black shrimp paste.
  • Cook until the meat is tender and the sauce is reduced.
  • Add sliced chilies, stirring frequently until cooked.
  • Serve hot.
