Sambal Ulek Recipe (Hot Chili Paste)

Ingredients :

25

2 teaspoons

Fresh red chilies

Salt

Vinegar or tamarind liquid

Method :
  • Put the chilies, seeds and all, into a container of an electric blender.
  • Add enough vinegar or tamarind liquid to keep the mass moving.
  • Blend to a paste.
  • Add Salt.
  • Put into a sterilized bottle and store in the refrigerator.
  • Use as required in the recipes.
