Shredded Salted Fish with Green Beans Recipe (Sambal Petai)

Ingredients :

250 g

10 tablespoons

Spices (ground)

Salted fish (any small fish)

Oil

Green beans (petai), halved

Pea aubergines

Limes, extract juice

Red chilies

Shallots

Salt

Method :
  • Wash salted fish then grill.
  • Pound the flesh until tender and discard the bone.
  • If you are using small fish, roast it then discard the head and pound until tender.
  • Heat oil and sauté ground spices.
  • Add petai and pea aubergines.
  • Simmer until almost cooked, then toss in the fish and add lime juice.
