Chicken Satay with Black Shrimp Paste Sauce Recipe (Sate Ayam Banjar)

Ingredients :

500 g

2 tablespoons

1 tablespoon

Black Shrimp Paste Sauce

10

5 tablespoons

1 teaspoon

5 cloves

2 tablespoons

Chicken meat, cut into 1 X 2 cm pieces

Sweet soy sauce

Margarine, melted

Red chilies, boiled, ground

Tomato sauce

Black shrimp paste

Garlic, ground

Margarine, melted

Salt and sugar

Method :
  • Thread 4-5 pieces chicken onto satay skewers.
  • Combine sweet soy sauce and margarine with 5 tablespoons of black shrimp paste sauce.
  • Dip each skewer into this sauce until the meat is completed covered.
  • Let it stand for 30 minutes.
  • Grill chicken over hot charcoal, turning skewers over from time to time.
  • Serve with sweet soy sauce and the remaining black shrimp paste sauce.

Black Shrimp Paste Sauce : Combine all sauce ingredients. Serve as a dip.
